Eadgifu was born in 0902.  Eadgifu's father was Edward I "The Elder" (King) and her mother was Ecgwy (or Ecgwyn). She had a half-brother and eight half-sisters, named Edmund I The Magnificent, Aedgifu (or Edgiva), Ethile (Eadhilde), Ethile (Eadhilde), Ethile (Eadhilde), Editha, Elgiva, Elgiva and Elgiva.  She died after 0951.
