Adela of Roucy was born about 1050 in Montdidier, Somme, Picardie, France.  Adela of Roucy's father was Ct. Hildouin III of Rouci & Montdidier and her mother was Adele of Roucy.  Her paternal grandparents were Ct. Hildouin II of Roucy & Montdidier and Lesseline Dammartin; her maternal grandparents were Ct. Ebles I of Roucy and Beatrix of Hainault. She had a brother and two sisters, named Andre of Rameru, Beatrix of Montdidier and Marguerite of Roucy.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died after 1121.


Adela of Roucy's first family with Ld. Godfroi of Guise

‌Adela of Roucy and Godfroi of Guise were married in a religious ceremony in 1065.


Adela of Roucy's second family with Gauthier of Roeux

They had two daughters named Beatrix of Roeux and Ida of Roeux.
