Richard was born on January 8th, 1793 in , , Loudoun Co. VA.1 Richard's father was Robert POWER and his mother was Sarah FARROW. His paternal grandparents were Joseph POWER and Sarah Shores; his maternal grandparents were Joseph FARROW and Elizabeth Masterson. He had six brothers and a sister, named George, Charles, William, Joseph, Robert, Alexander and Sarah Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had seven half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, Charles, William, Joseph, Richard, Robert, Alexander and Sarah Ann. He died at the age of 49 on July 15th, 1842 in Thibodaux, Lafourche Cty, LA.General Notes
