Robert was born on May 8th, 1803 in Williamsburgh & Matilda, Dumas Ont. and his baptism took place on May 9th, 1803 in Leeds, Leeds, Ontario, Canada.1 Robert's father was Robert James PARKER and his mother was Providence MILLER. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jr. PARKER and Amy JAMES. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Charles, Joseph, Joshua, Soloman Ellis, Thomas B., William, Catherine, Hannah and Lydia Ann. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother named John.-
