Joanna "Of Acre" was born in 1272 in Acre,Palestine.  Joanna "Of Acre"'s father was Edward I, "Longshanks" Plantagenet King of England and her mother was Eleanor de Castilla.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III Plantagenet and Eleanor Berenger Countess Of Provence; her maternal grandparents were Fernando Alfonsez III King of Castilla y León and Joan de Dammartin. She had eleven brothers and twenty-six sisters, named John, Henry Plantagenet Prince of, Henry, Alphonso Plantagenet Prince of, Alphonso, Edward II, King, Edward II, John Plantagenet Prince of, Alfonso, Henry, John, Eleanor Plantagenet of, Eleanor, Joan Plantagenet Princess of, Joan, Katherine Princess of, Katherine, Isabel Princess Of, Isabel, Margaret, Margaret, Berengaria, Princess Of, Berengaria, Mary Plantagenet Princess Of, Mary, Alice, Princess Of, Alice, Elizabeth Plantagenet Princess of, Elizabeth, Beatrice, Princess Of, Beatrice, Blanche, Princess Of, Blanche, UNKNOWN, Eleanor, Margaret and Mary. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas Prince of, Thomas, Edmund, Prince of, John, Eleonor Princess Of, Eleanor and (Daughter).  She died at the age of 35 on April 23rd, 1307 in Clare,Suffolk,England.

‌Joanna "Of Acre" and Gilbert "The Red" were married in a religious ceremony on April 30th, 1290 in Westminster Abbey,Middlesex,England.  They had a son and three daughters, named Gilbert II, Eleanor, Margaret and Elizabeth.
