Henry la Zouche

Henry was born about 1252 in Ashby,Magna,Leicestershire,England. Henry's father was Alan la Zouche and his mother was Elena de Quincy. His paternal grandparents were Roger la Zouche and Ela Longespee; his maternal grandparents were Roger , 2nd Earl Of Winchester de Quincy and Helen (Elena) de Galloway. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Roger, Eon Or Eudo, Eudo, William, Alan, Oliver, Helene Rohan-Porhoet, Margaret Mary and Maud. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He had four half-sisters named Ellen, Eleanor, Maud and Elizabeth.
