Charles was born in ,Vincennes,Val-de-Marne,France.  Charles' father was Phillipe III The Bold Hardi King of France and his mother was Isabel de Aragon .  His paternal grandparents were Louis IX "El Santo" de France and Marguerite de Provence Berenger; his maternal grandparents were Jaime I "El Conquistador" Rey de Aragon and Jolan Princess Of Hungary. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Louis aux Etampes Count, Philippe IV King of and Marguerite Princess Of.  He died on December 16th, 1325 in ,Nogent-le-Roi,Eure-et-Loire,France.  He was buried in St Jacques,Paris,Seine,France.
