Her paternal grandparents were Sir Henry , Lord Percy de Percy and Eleanor fitz Alan (Arundel); her maternal grandparents were Robert de Clifford and Maud De Clare. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, Richard, Roger, Robert, Thomas, William, Isabel, Eleanor and Maude , Lady Neville. She was the second oldest of the ten children.
