Gisele was born about 1028 in Flanders,Belgium. Gisele's father was Frederick I of Luxembourg and her mother was Irmtrud Gleiberg. Her paternal grandparents were Siegfried Count of Luxembourg and Hedwig von Nordgau; her maternal grandparents were Herbert I von, Conde Gleiberg and Irmtrude von Avalgau. She had six brothers and eight sisters, named Friedrich I, Giselbert I, Compte De, Frédéric II, Duc de, Frederick, Hermann I Von, Henry II Of, Otgive de, Irmtrud, Ermengarde de, Imagi Of, Jutta Countess of, Gisèle de, Jutta Von and Yvette de. She died in 1058. She was buried in Chapel of,St Lawrence,Ghent.General Notes
