Joan de was born about 1220 in of,Thetford,Norfolk,England and her baptism took place in ,of Lydell,Cumberland,England.  Joan de's father was Nicholas Lord of Stuteville and her mother was Joan Peche.  Her paternal grandparents were William de , Lord of Cottingham Stuteville and Bertha (Emma) de Glanville; her maternal grandparents were Gilbert PECHE and Alice maud FITZwalter. She had a sister named Joan De.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died on April 6th, 1276 in Cottingham,Yorksshire,England.
