Mary was born about 1429 in Perth,Perthshire,Scotland.  Mary's father was James I King Scotland and her mother was Joan de Beaufort.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert III (Robert John STEWART) King Scotland and Annabella Drummond; her maternal grandparents were John (1st Earl of Somerset) Beaufort and Margaret (of Kent) Holland. She had two brothers and six sisters, named James II Stewart, Alexander, Margaret, Isabella Elizabeth, Joan Janet, Annabella, Eleanor and Isabel (Princess). She had three half-brothers named John of Atholl, James of Buchan and Andrew.  She died on March 20th, 1465 in Kstl Sandenburch,Veere,Zeeland,Netherlands.  She was buried in Groote Kerk,Veere,Zeeland,Netherlands.
