Eleanor was born in Grismond Castle,Monmouth,,England.  Eleanor's father was Henry (3rd Earl of Lancaster) Plantagenet and her mother was Maud De CHAWORTH.  Her paternal grandparents were Edmund "Crounchback" Plantagenet and Blanche D' Artois; her maternal grandparents were Patrick CHAWORTH and Isabel De BEAUCHAMP. She had a brother and four sisters, named Henry Duke of Lancaster, Maud, Joan, Mary and Blanche.  She died on January 11th, 1372 in ,ARUNDEL,Sussex,England.  She was buried in ,Lewes,Sussex,England.

They had a son and a daughter, named Henry De Beaumont III Lord and Maud.
