Heinrich V of was born in 1129 in Ravensburg on the Donau,Württemberg.1   Heinrich V of's father was Heinrich of Bavaria and Saxony and his mother was Gertrude of Austria.  His paternal grandparents were Henry I (Niger) of Bavaria and Ulfhild (Wulfhilde) Saxony.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 66 on August 6th, 1195 in Braunschweig,Germany.  He was buried in Cathedral of St. Blasius,Brunswick,Germany.1 1
