Princess Adelheid of was born about 1092 in of,Savoy,,France.  Princess Adelheid of's father was Humbert II De Maurienne Comte De Savoy and her mother was Giselle Countess of Burgundy.  Her paternal grandparents were Amadeo II de Maurienne, Count of Savoy and Joan de Geneva; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume I "The Great" of Bourgogne and Stephanie (Etienette) of Barcelona. She had a brother and a sister, named Amadeus III de Maurienne, Count of and Agnesa di. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Guillaume VI Of, William V Margrave of, Joan de, Adalisia De, Isabella de and Matilda de.  She died on November 18th, 1154.  She was buried in Montmartre Abbey.1
