Count Hugo of was born in 1157. Count Hugo of's father was Count Ludwig I of Looz and his mother was Agnes von Metz. His paternal grandparents were Count Arnulf I of Looz and Agnes of Mainz; his maternal grandparents were FOLMAR V of Metz and Mathilda of EGISHEIM.
