Adelaide Kleve

Adelaide was born about 1285 in Kleve,Rheinland,Prussia. Adelaide's father was Derek VII Kleve and her mother was Margaret Countess Kyburg. Her paternal grandparents were Derek VI Kleve and Princess Aleidis of Sponheim; her maternal grandparents were Eberhard I Halburg-Kyburg and Anna Kyburg. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Eberhard, Dietrich VIII, Johann II, Irmgard, Agnes, Maria, Elisabeth, Anna and Margaret. She was the oldest of the ten children. She had a half-brother named Otto. She died after October 23rd, 1320.
