Bragi was born about 0492 in ,Ringerike,Buskerud,Norway. Bragi's father was Halfdan "The Old" Hringsson king i and his mother was Almveigu Eymundsdatter. His paternal grandparents were Hring Raumsson and Miss Vifilsdatter; his maternal grandfather was Eymund King of Holmgard. He had eight brothers named Skelfi, Audi, Dag (Degi), Siggari, Lofdi, Nefli, Hildi and Budi. He was the third oldest of the nine children.General Notes
