Hugh Giffard

Hugh was born about 1045 in Beuff,Normandy,France. Hugh's father was Walter "The Elder" , Lord Giffard and his mother was Agnes Flaitel. His paternal grandfather was Osbern I de Bolbec; his maternal grandparents were Girard Fleitel and Herleva D' Evreux. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Walter, William, Walter, Rohese, Adelaide Giffard, Adelaide, Isabella Constance Catherine and Lora. He was the second youngest of the nine children.
