Count Heinrich II of Diez 
Count Heinrich II of was born in 1145. Count Heinrich II of's father was Embricho II von Dietz and his mother was Demundis of Laurenburg. His paternal grandfather was Count Heinrich I of Diez; his maternal grandparents were Dudo Count of Laurenburg and Irmgard (Demudis) of Arnstein. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Eberhard I Count of, Eberhard I Count of, Princess Mechtild of and Princess Gertrud of. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 44 in 1189.-
