Eudes I "The Red" of was born in 1058 in Of Bourgogne,France.  Eudes I "The Red" of's father was Enrique I Burgundy and his mother was Sibylla de Barcelona.  His paternal grandparents were Robert "El Viejo" Prince of France and Helie Ermengarde de Semur; his maternal grandparents were Ramon II Borrel Berenger Count Barcelona and Gisele Balsarency. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Hugues I "L'aveugle" De, Robert De, Renaud De, Enrique II de Burgundy Conde de, Hbelie De and Beatrix De.  He was the second oldest of the seven children.  He died in Tarsus.  He was buried in Citaux.

They had two sons and three daughters, named Hugues II "le Pacifique" De, Henri De, Hbelie De, Florine De and Alice Helene de.
