Geoffroy I "Grisegonnelle", Count of was born about 0938 in Anjou,France and his baptism took place in France - Aka Geoffroi of Gatinais.  Geoffroy I "Grisegonnelle", Count of's father was Foulques II "le Bon" Count of Anjou and his mother was Gerberge de Maine.  His paternal grandparents were Foulques I "le Roux" Count of Anjou and Roscille de Loches; his maternal grandparents were Hervé, Comte du Maine and Godehilde de Maine. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Bouchard I. Comte de, Foulques I De, Guy d', Drogon, Geoffroi II, Comte d', Foulques I de, Bouchard IV Count, FOULQUES (Fulk) II COUNT de, Agnes, Aelips de, Agnès d' and Adelaide, (Blanca) de.  He died in in battle.
