Constance Fenimore, Author Woolson 
Constance Fenimore, Author was born on March 5th, 1840 in Claremont, New Hampshire.1 Constance Fenimore, Author's father was Charles Jarvis, Sr. Woolson and her mother was Hannah Cooper Pomeroy. Her maternal grandparents were George Pomeroy and Ann Cooper. She had a brother and seven sisters, named Charles Jarvis, Jr., Georgianna Pomeroy, Emma Cornelia Clark, Anna Pomeroy, Gertrude, Julia Campbell, Clara and Alida. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 53 on January 24th, 1894 in Venice, Itala. She was buried in Protestant Cemetery, Rome, Italy.1 1 General Notes

She was a poet and novelist and was a contributor to Harper's,
Lippincott's, Galaxy, and Atlantic Monthly. After 1879 she lived in
Europe.
