William-, Judge was born on December 2nd, 1754 in Byberry Township, Pennsylvania.1   William-, Judge's father was James- Cooper and his mother was Hannah Hibbs.  His paternal grandparents were William- Cooper and Mary Groom. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, Benjamin, Levi, Sr., Susannah, Letitia, Ann and Hannah.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Marmaduke, Meshach, Naboth, Noah, Alpkeus, Amelia and Laodosia.  He died at the age of 55 on December 22nd, 1809 in Albany, New York.  He was buried in Christ Church Cemetery, Cooperstown, New York.1 1 


William-, Judge's first family with Elizabeth Fenimore

‌William-, Judge and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on November 12th, 1774 in Burlington, New Jersey.1   They had seven sons and four daughters, named Richard Fenimore, Sr., Isaac, Abraham, William Yeardley, Sr., Lawyer, Samuel, Sr., James- Fenimore, Author, Henry Fry, Hannah, Ann, Ann and Elizabeth.
