Richard Ison Wood 
Richard Ison was born on January 18th, 1872 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Richard Ison's father was James Henry Wood and his mother was Sarah Francis Lee. His paternal grandparents were Commodore Decatur, Sr. Wood and Malinda Logan; his maternal grandparents were William G. Lee and Unigus (?). He had five brothers and four sisters, named John Reedy, William Berry, Robert Edward, Sinclair Eugene, James Henry, Jr., Mary Beatrice, Alice Levann, Elizabeth Lee and Lilla Mae. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 66 on July 2nd, 1938 in AL.1 General Notes
