Elizabeth Lee was born in October 1879 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Elizabeth Lee's father was James Henry Wood and her mother was Sarah Francis Lee. Her paternal grandparents were Commodore Decatur, Sr. Wood and Malinda Logan; her maternal grandparents were William G. Lee and Unigus (?). She had six brothers and three sisters, named Richard Ison, John Reedy, William Berry, Robert Edward, Sinclair Eugene, James Henry, Jr., Mary Beatrice, Alice Levann and Lilla Mae. She was the third youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 71 in 1950 in Coosa Co., AL. She was buried in Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Ch., Coosa Co., AL..1 1 General Notes
