Martha was born on March 24th, 1845 in ?.1 Martha's father was John\Jonas Wilson and her mother was Nacy Love. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named James, Henry, William, Joseph, Andrew M., Nancy, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Sarah A., Emaline and Caroline. She was the third youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 64 on July 29th, 1909 in LA. She was buried in Mt. Nebo Methodist Ch. Cemetery, north of Downsville, Union Parish, LA.1 1
