Jane Catherine White

Jane Catherine was born on February 26th, 1858 in Coosa Co., AL.¹   Jane Catherine's father was Robert Alexander Major White and her mother was Elizabeth Ann Blankenship.  Her maternal grandfather was John Buck Blankenship. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William Henry, Larkin Farean, John Lloyd, Thomas Joseph, Milly Elizabeth, Carrie Angelina, Mary Adeline and Alabama.  She was the second youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 27 on January 12th, 1886 in Coosa Co., AL.  She was buried in Holly Springs Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL; near Fayetteville, Talladega Co..^1 1
