Carrie Ella was born on September 8th, 1904 in Camden, Kershaw Co., SC.1 Carrie Ella's father was Thomas James Spradley and her mother was Bessie Bulah Barnes. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Albert Spradley and Marguerite Elizabeth Smith. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Alfred James, Lawrence Wilson, James Thomas, Anna Matilda, Ruth Almead, Lillie Victoria and Bulah Bessie. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 88 on October 9th, 1992 in Rockingham, Richmond Co., NC. She was buried in Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham, Richmond Co., NC.1 1 -
