Francis Jane Sharbutt

Francis Jane was born on February 28th, 1837 in Troup Co., GA.¹   Francis Jane's father was Wiley James Sharbutt and her mother was Susan Cordelia Boring.  Her paternal grandfather was Warrner Sharbutt. She had eight brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joesph M., Nathan S., William S., Hillery Mathew, David W., Thomas Coke, G. W., Laura, Mary Elizabeth, Amanda M. C., Narcissa, Harriet, Ellen and Irene.  She was the second oldest of the sixteen children.  She died at the age of 87 on March 30th, 1924 in Coosa Co., AL.  She was buried in Weogufka Baptist Church Cemetery, Coosa Co., AL.^1 1 

‌Francis Jane and Thomas Jefferson were married in a religious ceremony on July 9th, 1863 in Coosa Co., AL.¹
