Omer L. was born on March 4th, 1902 in Fulton Co., AR.1 Omer L.'s father was Joseph Albert Sears and his mother was Mintie Mae Smith. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Sears and Susan Cooper. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Lester F., John Noah, George Owen, Ernest A., Elsie Victoria, Flora M., Anne Merle, M. Ella, Emma Jo and Jessye. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 on August 19th, 1972 in OK.1 General Notes
