George Owen was born on November 10th, 1895 in Fulton Co., AR.1 George Owen's father was Joseph Albert Sears and his mother was Mintie Mae Smith. His paternal grandparents were George Washington Sears and Susan Cooper. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Lester F., John Noah, Omer L., Ernest A., Elsie Victoria, Flora M., Anne Merle, M. Ella, Emma Jo and Jessye. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 70 in June 1966 in CA.1 General Notes
