Delia Rushing 
Delia was born on December 21st, 1873 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Delia's father was Francis Marion Rushing and her mother was Frances Virginia Yelverton. Her paternal grandparents were Malachi Rushing and Telitha Dykes; her maternal grandparents were Gappa Talmadge Yelverton and Martha Brown Simmons. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William F. McDonald, John Burrell, Gappa Malachi, Francis Marion, Jr., Martha Alabama, Frances Miriam and Minneola. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at 7 months old on August 9th, 1874 in Elba, Coffee Co., AL. She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Elba, Coffee Co., AL..1 1 -
