Francis Marion, Jr. was born about 1872 in Coffee Co., AL.1 Francis Marion, Jr.'s father was Francis Marion Rushing and his mother was Frances Virginia Yelverton. His paternal grandparents were Malachi Rushing and Telitha Dykes; his maternal grandparents were Gappa Talmadge Yelverton and Martha Brown Simmons. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William F. McDonald, John Burrell, Gappa Malachi, Martha Alabama, Frances Miriam, Delia and Minneola. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died on December 25th, 1953 in ?.1 -
