John Sim Miller 
John Sim was born on September 14th, 1893 in Coosa Co., AL.1 John Sim's father was Eli Walter Miller and his mother was Mollie Dee Adams. His paternal grandparents were John McBride, Jr. Miller and Martha Ann Logan; his maternal grandparents were Simon M. Adams and Martha Ann McEwen. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Eli Walter, Jr., Mack Adams, Mattie and Mary Moss. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 70 on March 26th, 1964 in AL. He was buried in Sears Chapel Cemetery, located about a mile north of Rockford, AL..1 1 General Notes

"Local and Personal
Mr. Sim Miller and Miss Bessie Stewart were married at the church at
Sears Chapel last Sunday morning. The groom is a son of Dock Miller who
resides upon Hatchett and is a farmer. The bride is the second daughter
of C. W. Stewart, one of our business men her, and she knows well how to
preside over a home. She has been trained that way, and will make her
husband a splendid wife.
We congratulate them and wish they may lay hold of life with a view
