Until recently, it was believed William Miller was the father of John
McBridge, Henry, James, and Leah. Thus, William Miller may appear as the
father in some records.
Charles Miller's will in Henry Co., GA: Addendum Will Book A, 1834 -
1869, Film #2055171. Dated 16 Dec 1826.

On June 22, 1997 Ron, Eunice, Melissa, & Rachel Bridges, road to
Bentleyville, Coosa, AL , where Bryce Miller's farm is located. He
informed us, that he heard the story from the older Millers about William
Miller's great escape from Ireland. It seems that William was in some
type of  trouble with the authorities of Ireland. When other members of
his family were preparing to leave Ireland for America, they hid William
in a empty flour barrel. They then stowed him away on the ship that was
sailing to America. When the ship was a long distant out to sea, the
other Millers on the ship opened the barrel and released William.
