Alice Elvira was born on May 3rd, 1878 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Alice Elvira's father was Robert Anderson Miller and her mother was Cordelia Alice Foster. Her paternal grandparents were James Miller and Mary Gibson; her maternal grandparents were William A. Foster and Nancy N. Palmer. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named James William, Eddie Warren, Sr., Robert Andrew, Charles Taylor, William Henry, Elvirenia Ellen, Edia Jane, Mary Mandia, Lee Ora, Lillie Narissus, Mattie Beatrice and Irene. She was the second oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 81 on November 29th, 1959 in Tarrant, AL.1 General Notes

Mrs. Alice E. Baker, 81, Tarrant, Funeral Is Today
Mrs. Alice Elvana Baker, 81, 1115 Ford Ave, Tarrant, died at the
residence yesterday following a short illness.
A native of Clanton, Mrs. Baker had been a resident of Tarrant for 49
years.
Until her illness, Mrs. Baker had been active in her husband's
business, Bakers Cleaners.
She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p. m. today at Brown-Service Chapel, the
Revs. C. W. Williams and J. L. Aders officiating
Burial will be in Forest Hill.
Surviving are her husband, Cary Baker; three sons, Clio, Forrrest, an
Ocie Baker; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Cain and Mrs. Lucille Walker; three
sisters, Mrs. Lilly Bennett, Mrs. Lee Baker, and Miss Edith Miller, and
three brothers, E. W., R. A., and Henry Miller.
