William Robert Mapes 
William Robert was born on March 31st, 1865 in AL.1 William Robert's father was William James Mapes and his mother was Mary Francis Durell. His maternal grandparents were John Durell and Dorcas Spradley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Thomas, Bryant Curtis, Malcum Lester, James Lyton, Dorcas Luella and Mary Irene. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 80 on January 7th, 1946 in AL. He was buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Crenshaw Co., AL.1 1 -
