George Washington Jordan 
George Washington was born on November 15th, 1830 in AL.1 George Washington's father was Felix Jordan and his mother was Sarah C. Champion. His paternal grandparents were Jonas Jordan and Elizabeth Elmore. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Turner Eldridge, William H., Franklin A., Felix Lawson W., Elizabeth, Mary Louisa and Lucinda S.. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 30 on December 26th, 1860 in Lowndes Co., AL. He was buried in Rocky Mount Cemetery, Crenshaw Co., AL..1 1 General Notes
