Emma Florence was born on September 6th, 1889 in St. Clair Co., AL.1 Emma Florence's father was Steven Barner Gothard and her mother was Emaline Wells. Her paternal grandparents were Travis Glenn Gothard and Aletha Williams. She had two brothers and two sisters, named John Henry, William Louis, Perlina Delitha and Olivia.
