Clive Gordon was born on November 26th, 1903 in Coosa Co., AL.1 Clive Gordon's father was William Franklin Darden and his mother was Amanda Cordellia Miller. His paternal grandparents were William Stephen Darden and Sarah Mitchell Carlisle; his maternal grandparents were Henry Walter Miller and Mary Fannie Vansandt. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Ottis, William Arthur, Henry Judson, Robert Lewel, Howard D., A. Pearl, Mary Christine and Jewel Beatrice. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 91 on July 10th, 1995 in Garland, Dallas Co., TX.
