His paternal grandparents were John Bryant Castellow and Amy Hill McClendon; his maternal grandparents were Louis Pye and Sallie Clay. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named William, Stephen, Edward B., Clarence, Martha, Elizabeth Mary, Leila, Eliza Eugenia, Sarah, Olline and Orrie L.. He was the third oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 65 on February 24th, 1914 in Georgetown, Quitman Co., GA.1 -
