David Carson Avent 
David Carson was born on June 4th, 1861.1 David Carson's father was Joseph Carson Avent and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Douglas. His paternal grandparents were William B. Avent and Ester Watts Olegg; his maternal grandparents were Silas Douglas and Mary Harrington. He had a brother and five sisters, named Rabon Cottrell, Anne Elizabeth, Mattie Easter, Mary Watts, Hattie B. and Josephine. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on December 24th, 1931.1 -
