David Hartshorn

David was born on March 28th, 1847 in Blaenavon,Llanover,Monmouth,Wales and his baptism took place there on June 27th, 1847.¹   David's father was Emmanuel Elisha Hartshorn and his mother was Margaret Morgan.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Hartshorn and Sarah UNKNOWN. He had a brother and three sisters, named Edward, Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Maria Hartshorn/.  He was the youngest of the five children.
