Maria Hartshorn/ was born in August 1844 in Blaenavon,Llanover,Monmouth,Wales and her baptism took place there on October 6th, 1844.1 Maria Hartshorn/'s father was Emmanuel Elisha Hartshorn and her mother was Margaret Morgan. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Hartshorn and Sarah UNKNOWN. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Edward, David, Elizabeth and Mary Ann.
