William la Zouche

William was born about 1246. William's father was Sir Alan II La Zouche and his mother was Ela De Quincey. His paternal grandparents were Roger la Zouche , Sheriff Of Devon and Annora Margaret Biset; his maternal grandparents were Roger de Quincey , 2nd Earl of Winchester and Helen of Galloway. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Sir Roger, Eudo, Robert, Alan III, Oliver, Henry, Helene, Margaret Mary and Alice. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
