Sir Roger la Zouche 
Sir Roger was born about 1242 in Ashby, Leicestershire, England. Sir Roger's father was Sir Alan II La Zouche and his mother was Ela De Quincey. His paternal grandparents were Roger la Zouche , Sheriff Of Devon and Annora Margaret Biset; his maternal grandparents were Roger de Quincey , 2nd Earl of Winchester and Helen of Galloway. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Eudo, Robert, William, Alan III, Oliver, Henry, Helene, Margaret Mary and Alice. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died on October 15th, 1285 in Ashby, Leicestershire, England.-
