Urraca Alfonsez was born about 1190 in of Toledo, New Castile, Spain. Urraca Alfonsez's father was Alphonso IX the Slobberer de LeUn King of LeUn and her mother was Agnes de Mendoza. Her paternal grandparents were Ferdinand II de LeUn King of LeUn and Urraca Alfonsez de Portugal Cts de Portugal. She had three half-brothers and six half-sisters, named St. Ferdinand III, Alfonse de Molina, Fernando, Berengaria de LeUn, Constanza de Castile, Leonor de Castile, Aldonca Alfonsez, Sancha de Castile and Dulce.
