Isabel was born in of, Pembrokeshire, Wales and her baptism took place in April 1206 in St. David's, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  Isabel's father was William (Strongbow) "The , 1st Earl of Pembro/Marshall and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert de Clare , Countess of Pembrok.  Her paternal grandparents were John (The Marshal) FitzGilbert and Sibilla (Sibyl) de Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Richard "Strongbow" Fitzgilbert de Clare , Earl and Eva (Aoife) MacMurrough. She had five brothers and five sisters, named William, Gilbert, Richard, Anselm, Walter, Margaret, Maud (Matilda), Eve, Joane and Sibyl.  She died on January 16th, 1240 in Berkhamstead, Hertfordshire, England.  She was buried in Beaulieu, Southampton, England.


Isabel's family with Gilbert De CLARE  1 EARL OF GLOUCESTER

‌Isabel and Gilbert De were married in a religious ceremony on October 9th, 1217 in England.  They had three sons and seven daughters, named Richard De, William De, Gilbert De, Joan De, Maud De, Susan De, Avicia de, Isabel De, Adeliza De and Agnes De.
