Maud De was born in 1138 in Costow, Wiltshire, England.  Maud De's father was Geoffrey De Mandeville and her mother was [Countess Of Ess Rohese De Vere [Countess Of Ess.  Her maternal grandparents were (Sheriff &  Chambertain) Aubrey Alberic "The Monk"  De Vere (Sheriff &  Chambertain) and Mrs. Beatrice (Beatrix) (Nmn-Mrs. De) Vere. She had four brothers and a sister, named Ernulf De, William De, Robert De, Geoffrey De and Alice De.  She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Simon II De, Beatrice De and Andeline De.  She died in England.

‌Maud De and Piers De were married in a religious ceremony about 1160 in 1st Husband.  They had two sons and four daughters, named Robert, Geoffrey, Petronella, Julienne, Hawise (Hildegarde) and Maud.
