Maud was born about 1190 in Of, Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales and her baptism took place in September 1201.  Maud's father was William MARSHALL 4th Earl of PEMBROKE and her mother was Isabel de CLARE COUNTESS OF PEMBROOK. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Walter, William, Richard, Gilbert, Anselm, Margaret, Joan, Isabel, Sibyl and Eve.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died on March 27th, 1248.  She was buried in Tintern Abbey, Chapel Hill, Monmouthshire, England.

‌Maud and Hugh Le were married in a religious ceremony before 1207 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.  They had six sons and a daughter, named Ralph, Roger, John, Hugh, William Le, Simon Le and Isabel.

‌Maud and William de were married in a religious ceremony in 1225 in Surrey, England.  They had a son and two daughters, named John de, Margaret and Isabel.
